Heirs to Fate

Description of Story

A new story I am writing. I have almost finished the whole rough draft, and will be posting that up. Tune in on Fridays for updates.

Ten years ago, Kayla survived an attack by a dragon which
killed off her entire village and cost her her sight.

Now, Rhynere has finally given her the chance to hunt down
the remaining dragons. When she finds a secret lair and becomes separated from the rest of the hunting party, she is forced into a stalemate where she must work with the dragon to return to her companions. As they resolve the impasse, Kayla starts to doubt Rhynere and quells her own need for revenge. There are darker forces out there and the surviving free dragons must be gathered to rid the land of Darat of this threat.

One problem. Most of them are dead and finding the others is
no easy task. Rhynere has it stuck in his head that all the dragons must be destroyed for peace to come and will stop at nothing until he sees them all deceased.

But what can a blind girl barely reaching adulthood do to
foil Rhynere’s bloodlust for the dragons and gather the remaining ones for the war to save Darat?
